PRIMARY TRAINING:

ICD-705: SCIF/SAPF Design & Construction

   The Mantis SCIF/SAPF Design & Construction training course focuses on the entire SCIF/SAPF construction lifecycle. We provide a detailed breakdown of the ICD/ICS 705 series documents, along with DoDM 5105 and 5205 for our DoD SCIF/SAPF partners. Our training presentations are customized to individual customers, with the main topics of training being:

• Introduction to the SCIF/SAPF Industry 
• Analytical Risk Management & Risk Mitigation Planning
• Planning Prerequisites & Pre-Construction Required Information 
• Construction Security Plan (CSP) Considerations, Impacts, & Development
• SCIF/SAPF Design Requirements & Processes 
• Construction Processes, Inspections, & Needed Documentation
• SCIF/SAPF Final Accreditation Requirements & Processes

We provide specialized training to those that need to learn and perform Shielding Effectiveness (SE) testing of Radio Frequency (RF) Shielded Enclosures in accordance with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineer (IEEE) 299-2006 - IEEE Standard Method for Measuring the Effectiveness of Electromagnetic Shielding Enclosures. The training program requires advanced understanding of Electro-Magnetic Radiation (EMR), antennas, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers. Students will receive classroom training followed by field testing with hands on practical applications. In order to receive certification, all students will be required to perform SE testing of a shielded enclosure and generate a written report detailing the results to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of SE testing. Failures must be identified, detailed, and an accurate corrective action recommendation must be included in the report to pass the certification course.
